HISTORY
Founded in 1942 by Harry and Mollie Jacobson, Colegio Americano de Guayaquil has been a leader in high-quality international bilingual education. Since its inception, it has promoted cultural integration between Ecuador and the United States, evolving from its first locations downtown to its modern campus on Juan Tanca Marengo Avenue.

Over more than 80 years, the institution has educated generations of students with a solid academic foundation, English language proficiency, and a global vision that has allowed them to excel both nationally and internationally. This legacy is built on an educational model in constant evolution, aligned with international standards and the demands of an increasingly dynamic world.

The school is distinguished by its academic excellence, cutting-edge infrastructure—which includes sports facilities like the "Robert Allan Reed" stadium and modern laboratories—and an environment that fosters learning, innovation, and the holistic development of its students.

Today, Colegio Americano de Guayaquil continues to strengthen its position as an educational community that combines tradition and modernity, maintaining its commitment to forming individuals of integrity, prepared to face the challenges of the present and lead in a global context.
