On Saturday July 18 Biology II Intercollegiate Competition in Torremar Bilingual Education Unit, with the support of the University of the Hemispheres was performed. High school students belonging to public and private schools in the region Costa attended.
The contest consisted of a theoretical exam of 80 questions on topics of Cell Biology, Anatomy and Animal Physiology and Genetics and Evolution; which they were rated by a team of teachers with high academic standards of prestigious universities jury.
Student Rachel Chong III High School won third place and participate in the Iberoamerican Contest of Biology in El Salvador, in September 2015.
Student Maria Mercedes Torres, Bachelor III also won honorable mention for having done an outstanding participation in the contest and Dr. Mariuxi Bonilla diploma earned recognition for their valuable contribution in the preparation of students.
