Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving Day

In the United States of America, Thanksgiving Day is celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November. This date commemorates the first successful harvest of the Pilgrims in the area of New England in 1621.

During three days, the colonists together with the Indians celebrated the harvest with deer and turkey meat to thank God for their survival during their first year in this new land.
