The Student Council of the Colegio Americano de Guayaquil is an organization made up of student representatives elected by direct secret vote, independent of all political or religious affiliation.
The objectives of the Student Council are:
- To improve the prestige and maintain the good name of the school.
- To promote student participation in educational activities through civic, scientific, cultural, social and sports activities.
- To develop socially constructive values, attitudes and conduct, such as equality, courtesy, cooperation, and tolerance, as well as positive and active participation which provides an adequate preparation for life in society.
The Student Council is made up of the following members elected directly with universal suffrage.
- President
- Vice-President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Voting members
The voting members will be the presidents of each homeroom class in the school who are elected in the class meetings. |
