Admissions Process
The Admissions Department looks for a balance between those seeking to enter and the available places. With this goal in mind a limited number of students per class has been established. This circumstance and the quality of our education are the reasons for the obvious prestige that the institution enjoys in the Guayaquil community.
Admission of Ecuadorian and foreign students
The Colegio Americano reserves the right of admission; therefore it is necessary for parents to comply with thes following procedures:
- 1. Pick up an application for pre-selection in the Admissions Department, fill it out and turn it in with the following requirements
- 2. If you are pre-selected, buy an admission folder and attach the following documentation:
a) Birth certificate (authenticated).
b) Copy of the last two years’ report cards of the student requesting admission.
c) Certificate of Conduct for students requesting admission for High School.
d) Presentation of the documentation authenticated by the institutions in the country of origin.
e) Copies of the parents’ (guardians’) identity cards..
- 3. Turn the folder with the documents in to the Admissions department. The documentation will be checked and returned if it is incomplete.
- 4. Take the admissions exams on the day and at the time established by the Admissions Department.
- 5. Attend the interview set up by the Admissions Department.
- 6. Receive the final information and admissions decision.
