This is the season and especially the 25th of December is the day that Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus in a manger in Bethlehem. With the children we create a living manger scene, from the visit of the angel to Mary announcing the “good news” up until the arrival of the Three Kings who arrive to adore the child bringing gifts of gold, incense, and myrrh.
This wonderful moment is accompanied by presentations of chorus, violin, and flute groups who sing and play Christmas carols.
